This is some of the construction photo's of my space, its actually the roof space above the rooms in my house. In Australia, some houses have very tall roof spaces leaving a large amount of wasted space, I decided to turn mine into my loft train room.

I run a Digitrax system that also has computer control software to monitor track and control trains automatically.
I have recently (March2015) embarked on using Arduino electronic cards to assist in running my layout. The cost savings of the Arduino cards and sensors found on ebay are huge in comparison to proprietary equipment.
I have been so impressed at how easy and simple it is to make the Arduino stuff work, I have started this site to both show my work but more importantly share the success with all of you.
